Looks like the last World Championships were his last great outing.   It has been downhill ever since, and today's performance leaves no doubt that he's past it.   Kipruto on the other hand seems to be just warming up for even greater things; I expect a world record from him.    Faith Kipyegon too is in the latter category.      And in the "finished" category, I think we also have Asbel Kiprop: short of a miracle, his performance at the Olympics  and since then suggests "disaster" at this outing.

Day 4 (Kipyegon, skip to around 3:45:00)

Day 5 (Kipruto, skip to around 0:56:00)

Kemboi is past his peak.  It was good while it lasted.  But the surprise for me was Genzebe Dibaba.  Has she been doping and now can't because her coach was arrested?
