There was a club way back in the 70's to 80's at uhuru park called park in that hosted several live bands.
As long as it is well organized and regulated I see no problem in that.

According to this financial expert Kenya's financial situation has not changed. Once we pay back the Eurobond through borrowed cash, the situation will go back to normal.

One thing that I have learned is that some inflation is better than deflation. People lose jobs during deflation.

I used to do the same when I was young. Take all credit cards, refinance at a fixed rate, say 9%, and then kept spending. Until one time I went on a strict financial diet.

What is the fellow smoking of late? So he thinks Uhuru Park is a place where walevi like him can make noise without disturbing other people. He does not even know the meaning of a park!

So after kitu 20yrs as couch potato writting software for ngos as Njamba would say - I decided to take early retirement - cashed out pension - tururu kajiado - quarry - crushing stones. Not easy as I thought. But definitely I feel "alive" - healthy - like I havent felt the last decades sitting in computer. The major downside apart from money sinking going on is dealing with riff-raff - drunkard mechanic, driver, operator -   and zero work ethic - guys arrive at site 9ish and start to prepare tea - start work at 10ish - mvua kidogo - I basically need to be there - evading elephants, monkeys and etc of Kajiado. I forget something must break every day - there has to be repairs for xyz - every single day.

:D :D
Most of the problems postponed to 2032. The interest rates for the loans have shot up. Kenya is not producing anything more than in 2023. In fact it is the opposite. Kenya is producing less than even in 2015.

Dollar down to ksh 125. Our currency is stronger than Japanese yen.  Beside dodging default what else has changed? Govt flooding the market with borrowed dollars. How sustainable?

One thing that I have learned is that some inflation is better than deflation. People lose jobs during deflation.
